All Purpose Base Coat

Portola’s All Purpose Base Coat is premium quality undercoat made with 100% acrylic resin and designed for use with most Portola paints over previously painted and unpainted surfaces.

Limeproof Primer

Portola’s Limeproof Undercoat was created for use with Portola’s Lime Wash and is designed to help achieve a more consistent appearance and uniform absorption of Lime Wash. Portola’s Limeproof Undercoat can be used over previously painted interior and exterior surfaces. This is an acrylic primer made with 100% acrylic resin and formulated exclusively for Portola Paints.

Matte Wall Sealer

Portola’s Matte Wall Sealer is a clear, matte finish that is non-toxic, durable and will not yellow over time.

Matte Wall Sealer is a multi-purpose acrylic sealer designed for use with most Portola products and finishes. It is most commonly used on our Lime Wash to add a layer of protection. It will add a subtle sheen comparable to eggshell and it is only recommended for the lighter Lime Wash colors. Please refer to our Lime Wash TDS for additional information.

Roman Clay Topcoat

Our Roman Clay is an ultra low V.O.C, putty knife applied wall finish that gives a marble like texture to any smooth surface. Roman Clay gives wonderful depth and rustic originality, and is available in a wide range of standard and custom blended colors. Our Roman Clay Topcoat is an optional sealer which adds a subtle sheen and offers more durability.
